With over 25 years’ experience as a Chartered Physiotherapist, Sara has specialised in treating neurological patients in the public and private sector.

Her specialisms are in the treatment of complex neurological disabilities such as:

Brain and spinal cord injuries
Strokes
Multiple Sclerosis
Motor Neurone Disease
Parkinson’s Disease

 

Sara is sensitive to the challenges faced by clients who sustain life-changing injuries. Her focus and passion is on overseeing and providing high quality, person-centred treatment that is evidence based. Sara is versatile with each client and their family to ensure an adaptable and reliable treatment plan is developed.

Sara is also experienced with Case Management where her detailed goal and treatment planning can meet each individual’s rehabilitation needs. She ensures each physiotherapy programme is implemented correctly and safely, allowing for a 24/7 rehabilitation approach.

Having worked for many years as the treating therapist in the medico legal field, Sara has a meticulous insight in to the processes of producing comprehensive reports, sourcing community based services and liaising with professionals from the NHS, voluntary and statutory services.

She has completed an Advanced Bobath course and other skills include acupuncture and hydrotherapy.

With such a detailed understanding of the Neuro Physiotherapy sector and with an excellent team beside her, Sara prides herself on delivering home, care home and clinic based treatment that is dynamic, attentive and pragmatic.
