MCSP, HCPC- Neurological Physiotherapist
Rhian joined the team four years ago and has been a physiotherapist for over 11 years, graduating from Cardiff University in 2005.
She gained valuable experience working as a rotational physiotherapist, both at Junior and senior level within a large NHS trust. This has allowed her to obtain a wide variety of transferable skills.
She has also worked as a static senior physiotherapist within a rehabilitation setting in the NHS. This was a varied role and covered all areas of rehabilitation, from post ITU, care of the elderly and neurological rehabilitation.
She experience working under pressure in the A&E department of a large NHS Trust, assessing and discharging patients into the community and organising appropriate follow up from community teams. She has further expanded her experience in the community setting with us where enjoys the challenge of adapting her skills to treating patients within their own home to meet individual needs.
Rhian’s special interest is in working with clients with neurological conditions.
She has completed her Basic Bobath training and works within evidence-based practice. Rhian is committed to her continued professional development, to provide the highest standard of care to her to patients.
