Rhian Moger - MCSP, HCPC- Neurological Physiotherapist

Rhian is a graduate from Cardiff University in 2005. Upon graduating, Rhian began her career working for Cardiff and Vale NHS trust where she gained valuable experience at Junior and senior level across all specialities including Respiratory, medical rehabilitation, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal, care of the elderly, paediatrics and neurology.

As a senior, Rhian became a member of the Medical team working on the new 7 day initiative scheme. This involved covering the very busy A&E department and working as part of the multidisciplinary team within the hospital and community to facilitate safe discharge of patients with appropriate after care services. The role also involved, working on the medical rehabilitation wards with patients that had very complex medical conditions. The varied role allowed Rhian to gain experience of working with acute stroke patients, care of the elderly, Dementia and post ITU rehabilitation patients.

Rhian always had a special interest in neurology and would often cover the acute neuro wards to allow further development of her skills.
Rhian started working for Neuro physio wales in 2012 on a part time basis and became a full time member of the team in 2015. Working in this role has provided opportunities to work with a range of clinical presentations including Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Spinal Cord Injury, Traumatic Brain Injury and GBS, FND and other disorders affecting the central nervous system.

Rhian enjoys the variety that private practice allows and is passionate about patient centred care and ensuring that she always demonstrates excellent clinical reasoning to support patients to achieve their goals.

Rhian is HSPC registered and a member of the chartered society of physiotherapists.
