Reena is a dedicated Specialist Physiotherapist with over twenty years of experience providing patient care. Reena graduated from The University of Wales College of Medicine in 2003. Since qualification she has worked in The Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend, completing her junior and senior rotations in various clinical areas gaining valuable experience.
Still enjoying a long career in the NHS, she specialises working with patients with complex rehabilitation needs resulting from cancer, general and orthopaedic conditions, neurological conditions, and patients with chronic respiratory disease.
Her work also includes pre-habilitation, focusing on strengthening and optimising patients prior to surgery or medical treatments.
She has a specialist interest in breathlessness management, airway clearance techniques, inspiratory muscle training and exercise for patients with chronic lung conditions.
When she is not in work, you can find her negotiating the many walking trails around the Vale of Glamorgan with her dog Maui.
