Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis is a condition affecting the brain and spinal cord. The myelin coating protecting the nerves becomes damaged, disrupting conduction of impulses along the nerve. The myelin is attacked by the body’s own immune system, damaging and stripping it from the nerves, leaving scars or plaques.

The cause of multiple sclerosis is unknown, but could be caused by a mix or genetic, infective, and environmental conditions.

There are many symptoms of multiple sclerosis, some of the common ones are-

Eye problems-double vision

Fatigue

Muscle weakness

Muscle spasms

Poor balance

Bladder and bowel problems
